Polsek Tanah Luas Bedah Rumah Penyandang Disabilitas
LHOKSUKON – Personel Polsek Tanah Luas jajaran Polres Aceh Utara bersama sejumlah masyarakat membongkar sebuah gubuk yang dijadikan tempat tinggal di Gampong Ampeh Kecamatan Tanah Luas, Aceh Utara, Rabu (24/5/2023).
Sebelumnya Gubuk yang dibongkar itu ialah rumah tidak layak huni yang ditempati Safridan, (52) pria paruh baya penyandang disabilitas bersama dua anak perempuannya.
Kapolres Aceh Utara AKBP Deden Heksaputera S, S.I.K melalui Waka Polsek Tanah Luas Ipda Zulkifli menyampaikan pembongkaran yang dilakukan pihaknya hari ini adalah bagian dari tahapan bedah rumah yang pihaknya rencanakan sebelumnya.
“Nantinya kami akan membangun rumah layak huni bagi keluarga Safridan, ini adalah swadaya kita bersama Polsek Tanah Luas dengan masyarakat Gampong Ampeh,” ujar Ipda Zulkifli.
Ia menyampaikan, kolaborasi pihaknya itu dalam program ini sebagai bentuk kepedulian sosial cerminan bahwa Polri selalu dekat dengan masyarakat, karena tugas institusi kepolisian tidak hanya sekedar menegakkan hukum, tetapi juga memiliki tugas pengayoman.
“Di satu sisi melakukan penegakan hukum, namun di sisi lain kegiatan sosial kemasyarakatan tetap menjadi perhatian, kita harap proses bedah rumah ini cepat selesai,” pungkasnya.
