Kunker ke Polres Aceh Utara, Kapolda Aceh : Pahami Post Truth
LHOKSUKON – Kapolda Aceh Irjen Pol Achmad Kartiko, S.I.K., M.H meminta personelnya di Polres Aceh Utara untuk lebih bijak dalam menggunakan media sosial terlebih dalam menghadapi situasi saat ini menjelang pemilu 2024 mendatang.
Hal itu disampaikan Kapolda Aceh saat memberikan arahan kepada para pejabat utama serta para Bhabinkamtibmas dan Polisi RW dalam rangka kunjungan kerjanya di Mapolres Aceh Utara, Selasa (7/11/2023).
“Saat ini zamannya post truth, yakni kebenaran yang sebenarnya tidak diketahui, kalau berita bohong itu disebarkan secara berulang-ulang maka orang akan percaya,” ujar Irjen Pol Achmad Kartiko.
Untuk itu Kapolda meminta para personelnya agar memahami apa itu post truth, apa itu penyebaran berita palsu, hoaks, dan ujaran kebencian serta mengetahui batasan-batasan dalam mengomentari informasi, memverifikasi informasi dan menghindari provokasi yang beredar di media sosial.
Kapolda manyampaikan agar Polres Aceh Utara tetap menjaga sinergitas dengan stakeholder yang ada sehingga pemilu dapat berjalan aman damai dengan tetap menjunjung tinggi netralitas.
Dalam rangkaian kegiatan pada kunker di Polres Aceh Utara, Kapolda Aceh juga turut melakukan peresmian sebuah bangunan baru di Polres Aceh Utara yakni Gedung Satya Haprabu Sat Intelkam Polres Aceh Utara.
Dalam kunker itu, Kapolda Achmad Kartiko didampingi Ketua Daerah Bhayangkari Aceh, Irwasda dan beberapa Pejabat Utama Polda Aceh.
Sementara itu Kapolres Aceh Utara AKBP Deden Heksaputera S, S.I.K menyebutkan, dirinya mengucapkan selamat datang di wilayah Aceh Utara kepada Kapolda Aceh, Irwasda, serta Pejabat Utama Polda, dan seluruh rombongan.
“Secara umum situasi Kamtibmas di wilayah Aceh Utara masih kondusif dan siap melaksanakan Operasi Mantap Brata dalam rangka mengamankan tahapan pemilu 2024 mendatang,” ungkap Kapolres Aceh Utara.
